Support Liberty FCU’s effort to help send the Castle High School Bands to the Tournament of Roses parade

Liberty Federal Credit Union will match up to $25,000 in donations to help send the Castle High School bands to the Parade of Roses in Pasadena, California, on January 1, 2024.

Castle will be one of 20 high school bands taking part in the Tournament of Roses parade, and the only one that was selected by invitation thanks to its performance in the 2022 Bands of America Grand National Championships.

During this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the band members also will perform at Bandfest and at Disneyland, tour Universal Studios and Hollywood, and visit the Santa Monica Pier and Griffith Observatory.

The students will depart from Newburgh by charter bus to Louisville, Kentucky, where they will board a 285-seat charter flight to Los Angeles for the seven-day, six-night trip.
Castle Bands have been working on fundraisers to help cover the expense of the trip, which includes semi-trailers of equipment being driven to California. That incentivized the credit union to help with the effort, resulting in the $25,000 match.

Donations are being accepted at the Liberty FCU Warrick Office in Newburgh. You can learn more about how to help HERE.
